Peer to Peer (P2P) Live streaming is one of the emerging technology which reduce difficult in stream flow across internet. It act as overlay network and every nodes in network perform simultaneous functions as both client and server based on process. In P2P live streaming models, all nodes in network (or) some requested media can forwarded to a respective requested nodes. In P2P, nodes get automatically increased based on network communication. Every node in network can share their own resources to generate an entire capacity system. P2P Live streaming Omnet++ Projects also denoted as client- server model.

In Peer to Peer (P2P), Quality of Service (QoS) is expressed in two types of metrics they are given as:

  • Playback Continuity.

QoS (Quality of Service) ensure a node with low playback latency which receives a media point’s close in time to recent Deliver part by a provider.

QoS ensure a node with high playback quality is reduced when there is an disruption in continuity.

Available upload bandwidth contains a bottleneck which is deployed in P2P overlay network which limit a QoS service experienced by users.

  • Dynamism:

P2P network enhance dynamism by changing a network capacity in a regular time. The modification is also performed by joining nodes, leaves a node and continuous failing of network and concurrent process termed as churn.

  • Network address translation gateways (NATs) problem:

Direct connection is not support by default when nodes are in NATs problem and other cannot help to initiate a connection for network.
